Within a blood-red, eerie domain, Feng Tianlin gazed silently at the spirit controller before him, a faint smile playing on his lips.

“What exactly do you want?” the man asked.

Vik had already deduced that Redd's abnormal behavior was caused by that doll. Yet, as a strange creature, it was surprising that after controlling him, it did not kill him.

Feng Tianlin shook his head, then beckoned, and a finely crafted longbow floated over.

“Be still. Don’t move,” Feng Tianlin whispered.

Though his voice was calm, it carried an uncanny resonance that echoed in Vik’s ears, lingering endlessly.

Placing his hand on Vik’s head, Feng Tianlin gently guided his spiritual energy toward the Sun-Chasing Bow.

As Vik’s spiritual power touched the bow, it visibly reacted, emitting a faint glow.

But like fleeting youth, these effects vanished in an instant.

The spiritual energy could not remain within the Sun-Chasing Bow.

Feng Tianlin quickly identified the problem: Vik’s spiritual power was insufficient to sustain the bow. If his spiritual power were amplified tenfold...

The quantity and quality of spiritual power among ordinary spirit controllers were generally similar; higher ranks meant higher quality. Using the Sun-Chasing Bow seemed unrelated to quality but depended greatly on quantity.

To wield this bow, one needed spiritual power ten times that of an average spirit controller.

Who possessed such immense spiritual power?

There was one person Feng Tianlin knew—Ruan Miao.

However, judging from Wesley’s previous reaction, this bow was meant to be delivered by Wesley to a specific individual.

Since Ruan Miao’s spiritual power had been artificially boosted for her, it was unlikely she was the intended recipient.

And among other spirit controllers, who could wield such vast spiritual power?

“Probably those so-called ‘strange resonance’ individuals,” he mused.

He had heard from a Chinese spirit controller that Ruan Miao’s system was mistaken for some kind of strange resonance, possibly connected to this bow.

But since the bow was now in his hands, Feng Tianlin certainly wouldn’t hand it over to those strange resonance people; it had to be kept for Ruan Miao at least.

Having ascertained the energy required by the Sun-Chasing Bow, Feng Tianlin grew tired of further words with this spirit controller.

With a single kick, he ended the man who kept shouting about “my power.”

When he reappeared, it was inside the Harmon family estate, and sure enough, Redd was nowhere to be seen.

Now, he simply waited for the officials of the Sunset Kingdom to come for him.

At the Temple of the Heavenly God, Redd knelt at the door, drenched in blood from head to toe, endlessly lamenting.

Inside, it was eerily silent, as if deserted.

After a long while, a man in white robes emerged. Without sparing Redd a glance, he spoke to himself:

“If you wish to seek the help of the gods, you must first show your sincerity to them.”

Hearing this, Redd immediately grasped the man’s feet, kissing them while pleading:

“I am Redd of the Harmon familyI'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
