Chapter 17: We Can't Keep Sleeping in Separate Rooms Forever

Pei Siyu caught a glimpse of the young lady glancing at her phone again, and his eyes looked a little hurt.

Originally, Li Yunchu planned to stay here with her mother tonight; she had wedding leave these days and could care for her properly.

“Patient’s family, please come to collect the medicine.”

Suddenly, a nurse knocked at the door and called out.

Pei Siyu stood up at once.

“I’ll go. You stay here with Mom.”

With that, the man left.

Li Yunchu’s gaze wavered watching his retreating figure, then she looked away.

“Yunchu, you’ve already registered your marriage with Siyu. If you don’t go home to stay on the first night, he might feel a little uneasy inside. He won’t say it outright, but it’s inevitable to feel uncomfortable. A married couple must be understanding of each other. Don’t you agree?”

“But are you okay being alone tonight?”

Mrs. Li patted her hand reassuringly, “Don’t worry.”

Pei Siyu happened to return with the medicine.

“Mom, I left the medicine I got from the pharmacy with the nurse. The nurse will come by on her own tonight.”

The entire interior was decorated in cool tones, matching his personality.

But Li Yunchu thought of something else.

He wanted her to shower... were they going to... do something tonight?

Her face flushed. “I... I brought everything I need. If you want to buy something... I... I’m not ready to be a mother yet.”

She meant he should prepare those kinds of supplies.
