Jiang Wuyang stared at the giant golden python coiled before him like a small mountain. Its cold, red eyes fixed on him made a chill run down his spine. No one had told him that Chacha’s good friend was a free-roaming giant python! Huahua squinted and, seeing the unfamiliar man in front of her, flicked out her forked tongue and quietly backed away. Who was this man? Don’t come closer—she’s socially anxious!
Chacha released Jiang Wuyang, who hadn’t dared to move, and excitedly ran toward Huahua, only to be grabbed by Jiang Wuyang. Such a tiny bundle running over—wasn’t Huahua going to swallow her whole? Jiang Wuyang had feared reptiles since childhood. Though trembling all over, he bravely held onto Chacha and slowly backed away.
Chacha looked puzzled at both the man and the snake retreating silently, then suddenly understood. Softly, she said, “Brother Yangyang, don’t be afraid. Huahua is a pet my third brother raised. She’s very well-behaved.” To prove her point, the little bundle twisted her round body free from Jiang Wuyang’s arms and ran to Huahua.
“Chacha, you better—” Jiang Wuyang’s pupils constricted as he saw Chacha run up and hug the snake’s head, coaxing it in a childish voice, “Huahua, I still want to play on the swing.”
The python named Huahua actually coiled around Chacha, holding her like a swing, gently rocking back and forth. Chacha laughed, clutching Huahua’s body. Jiang Wuyang wondered: Could the snake understand human speech?
After an afternoon full of fright, the rain lessened considerably, and Jiang Wuyang’s clothes dried. He prepared to leave. He pulled a strawberry-flavored lollipop from his pocket, crouched down to meet Chacha’s gaze, and lazily said, “Brother still has to go to the hospital to visit little brother, so I won’t be playing with you today. See you next time.”
Chacha handed over the strawberry milk and cookies in her hands and softly said, “I’m giving the milk and cookies to Brother Yangyang’s little brother. I hope he gets better soon.” The little bundle’s expression was earnest. Jiang Wuyang took the milk and cookies, his heart melting completely. How could such an adorable little angel exist?
Pulling Chacha close, Jiang Wuyang buried his head in her neck, breathing in her sweet scent. The helplessness inside him gradually faded. No matter what, he would earn the medical fees for A Yu. “Thank you, Chacha. Brother will tell him.”
After waving goodbye to Chacha, Jiang Wuyang was sent to the hospital by the Gu family’s car.

Standing at the hospital room door, Jiang Wuyang straightened his clothes and pushed the door open. He saw A Yu staring out the gloomy window, lost in thought. Jiang Wuyang pursed his lips slightly, then smiled faintly: “A Yu, look what I brought you.”
A Yu’s face was pale, but when he saw his brother enter, a brilliant smile lit up his face. “Brother, it rained heavily today. You weren’t caught in it, right?”
Seeing A Yu’s little face scrunched up, Jiang Wuyang quickly took out the milk and cookies and smiled, “Brother met an adorable little bundle who took me in, so I didn’t get wet. Here, she asked me to give these to you.”
Curious, A Yu took the strawberry milk and took a sip. It tasted sweet, and suddenly he felt his breathing smooth out considerably. His eyes widened, and he took another sip, then another, finishing the milk before stopping.
Jiang Wuyang looked at his brother in surprise. Since being hospitalized, A Yu’s appetite had been poor, but today was different.
“Brother, this milk has magic. I feel stronger!” A Yu’s eyes sparkled with excitement as he clenched his small fists and looked up brightly.
Jiang Wuyang patted A Yu’s head, his voice rising slightly at the end: “Alright~ next time Brother will ask that young lady where she bought the milk.”
Smiling at the lively little bundle before him, Jiang Wuyang shook his head in helplessness. Silly child, there’s no magic—just that you feel stronger because you’ve eaten well.
…
Chacha hid in the kitchen, her small hand trembling as white light flickered from it. She tossed the light spheres into the kettle, then stealthily left the “scene of the crime,” peeking out at Aunt Wang in the kitchen.
Unaware, Aunt Wang poured herself a glass of water. As she swallowed a light sphere that hadn’t fully dissolved, she suddenly felt a warmth spread through her body.
“Huh?” Aunt Wang moved her hands and feet in surprise. Usually in winter, her limbs got cold, but now they were warm, and her mind was clearer.
She didn’t think much of it, assuming it was just heat from tidying the living room. Turning, she saw Chacha’s big round eyes and smiled, “Miss must be hungry. Dinner will be ready soon. Come wash your hands.”
Chacha obediently held out her little paws and rubbed them together, eyes darting around. She had just discovered this herself yesterday.
After waking up, she realized she could control the little light spheres at will. While playing, she accidentally knocked one into her milk. After drinking it, she found the milk tasted even better and felt warm inside.
So she threw a few of these light spheres into the milk she gave Brother Yangyang, hoping his little brother would recover quickly. Although Brother Yangyang often wore a handsome smile, she could see how worried he was for his brother.

Thinking this, Chacha shyly covered her mouth and giggled softly. She truly was a kind-hearted child.
Lately, she often watched educational cartoons and had learned many idioms.
Aunt Wang affectionately scratched her nose, thinking how mischievous she was.
No one saw as the light spheres in the kettle gradually dissolved completely into the water.
After a hearty meal, Chacha grew drowsy. Once Aunt Wang had coaxed her to sleep, she quietly closed the door, marveling to herself. Normally at this hour, her back and waist would ache, but today she felt boundless energy.
A group of servants gathered at the kitchen entrance, each holding a glass of water. Aunt Wang frowned and asked, “What are you all doing? Are the chores finished?”
A servant replied softly, “Aunt Wang, taste this water—it’s sweet.”
“Yes, yes, did the kitchen add something? It’s quite tasty.”
Aunt Wang looked puzzled. “What’s different? Isn’t this just ordinary water?”
Another servant poured her a glass to try. Aunt Wang sipped and showed surprise—indeed, she could taste the difference now.
Seeing her expression, everyone realized she had tasted the same sweetness.
“How strange. Ever since Miss arrived, many wonderful things have happened in the house.”
“Yes, not only can Miss communicate effortlessly with Huahua, but the houseplants are lush and green, and no little bugs come inside anymore.”
“Most importantly, since Miss came, the master and the young masters have been much happier. The house isn’t as gloomy as before.”
They all sipped their plain water and concluded with one voice, “Miss Chacha is truly a lucky star.”
