Great Xia, the Simuwu Cauldron!
The cauldron has always been regarded as a symbol of power. This massive cauldron, over a meter tall, felt like a small mountain, radiating a heavy, overwhelming aura just by looking at it!
For a moment, the snow creature froze in place.
“Heh heh,” the man with the power-type supernatural ability grinned widely, “Do you really think you can contend with Great Xia?”
“Boom!”
Under the incredulous gaze of the snow creature, the man leapt high into the air and slammed down with the might of a tyrant lifting the cauldron!
The cauldron crushes evil spirits!
This is the power of Great Xia!
Elsewhere, Old Master Dao Wanqian formed hand seals, and the Execution Immortal Sword moved at his command, transforming into flashes of sword light around him.
Though lacking the sword intent of a sword cultivator, it carried the unique aura of Taoist magical swords that slay demons and banish evil!
The sword’s name was Execution Immortal!
While it could not cut the snow creatures into pieces outright, any snow creature touched by the sword was torn open, shrieking and fleeing under the sword light.
Moreover, the Taoist Nine Yang Fire erupted from the ground, scorching the snow creatures!
Amid sword light and firelight, Old Master Dao Wanqian’s robes billowed, his hair and beard flying like an immortal, exuding a profound aura, with a faint yin-yang wheel spinning behind him.
At the same moment, Dao Wanqian sensed that the moment the blade was stained with blood, an ancient energy seemed to awaken within the sword.
Meanwhile, the Compassionate Buddhist Master shone with Buddha light, eyes wide open.
His gaze was fierce as a vajra’s wrath!
In his hand, the nine-ringed staff, heavy as thousands of tons, swung like silver light. Any snow creature struck emitted the sound of shattering bones, wailing as it was driven back.
“Amitabha!”
Behind the Compassionate Master, another shadow appeared—not the Tiger-Subduing Vajra or the Thousand-Handed Guanyin, but a white-robed monk leaning on a staff!
The legendary Great Buddha of Buddhism, the Tang Monk!
But this shadow of the Tang Monk was completely unlike the fragile figure described in the scriptures. The white-robed monk appeared robust, radiating strength rather than weakness.
On the contrary, the legendary Great Buddha Tang Sanzang radiated fierce energy, his iron fists formidable.
His brocade kasaya hung casually on his shoulders, his entire body muscular, with a nine-patterned dragon coiling over his shoulders, fangs bared across his chest.
Countless scars crisscrossed his body, adding to his fierce aura.
This fiercely powerful monk’s shadow seemed capable of smashing mountains with a single punch.

At this moment, the Compassionate Master abandoned his usual kindness, chanting Buddha’s name while swinging the heavy nine-ringed staff, wrapped in Buddha light, striking those snow creatures with great force.
A surge of Buddha’s energy flowed forth, causing the bloodshot-eyed snow creatures to dissolve even their fur, howling as they retreated.
Occasionally, a strong snow creature braved the Buddha’s light and energy, leaping forward to claw at the Compassionate Master.
But it could not pierce the brocade kasaya nor the auspicious clouds of merit surrounding him, and was violently struck away by the nine-ringed staff.
“Amitabha!”
“Beast! You dare to harm human life?”
“Do you truly think our Buddhist path is only compassion?”
“Prepare to meet your end!”
Though a kind monk, his words were harsh, his strikes merciless.
Confucian scholar Mo Buzhi summoned a surge of literary energy, which transformed into overwhelming righteousness that moved heaven and earth.
Dark ink gathered on his large brush, the brush of Confucius that spanned a thousand years, dipped anew in ink, and waved through the air.
“Honor the aged as you honor your own; cherish the young as you cherish your own.”
“The virtuous are many helpers; the wicked are abandoned.”
One righteous phrase after another poured forth, golden characters circling Mo Buzhi like chains linking heaven and earth, radiating inexhaustible pressure!
Words of the sages!
Behind Mo Buzhi, a burly shadow of Confucius slowly appeared, a sword at his waist, one hand holding a scroll, the other resting on the sword; beneath his scholar’s robe, muscles rippled.
“Please, words of the Master, aid our Great Xia!”
Mo Buzhi shouted loudly.
This seemingly simple call thundered like a storm, overpowering the howls of countless snow creatures.
Golden characters blazed like lightning from the sky, striking fiercely at the snow creatures charging him!
Within the ancient brush of Confucius, a power was awakening.
However, as Mo Buzhi furiously wrote, his eyes clouded with confusion. Though he cultivated both Confucianism and Taoism, and this brush once belonged to the reason-loving Confucius, why…
The awakening power within the brush seemed unwilling for him to just write righteous words; it wanted him to charge forward and fight hand-to-hand.
Mo Buzhi sensed the heavy brush trembling slightly, as if yearning for battle…
Still, regardless of the strange feeling from his weapon, Mo Buzhi, Dao Wanqian, and the Compassionate Buddhist Master all saw their combat power soar because of these treasures passed down from their ancestors, much stronger than before!
If not for the effect of the Tianshan snow lotus, and the incredible resilience of the snow creatures’ bodies, these three working together could have easily defeated dozens.
But the most surprising was Gongshu Ming.

In the previous Phoenix Society battle, Gongshu Ming’s wooden bird and steel rhinoceros had already amazed Lin Fan.
And this time…
“Hum!”
A flash of blade.
Lin Fan’s sword decisively cut down the snow creature he had been fighting for several rounds, not bothering to watch the flying head, but looking at Gongshu Ming with confusion: “Why did you bring them here?”
Beside Gongshu Ming stood the muscular “Lion” youth he had previously fought in the Free Nation, and the black woman who wielded playing cards as weapons.
They were still vivid, almost alive.
But their bodies, once sliced open by Lin Fan’s blade, were now tightly sealed with fine steel wires, perfectly fitted.
Their joints had been replaced with metal, reflecting cold light.
Aside from that, they looked almost indistinguishable from the living.
Under Gongshu Ming’s control, although their expressions and movements were somewhat stiff, their fearlessness of pain and death made them fierce fighters!
The Lion, massive and muscular, was the perfect warrior under Gongshu Ming’s control.
Though his stiffened throat could no longer roar, he fought like a lion, fearless and reckless against two snow creatures, even losing an arm without any sign of faltering.
The black woman, controlled by Gongshu Ming, hid behind the Lion, continuously launching razor-sharp playing cards that spun rapidly like blades, slicing through the air with a piercing sound.
“I was just… thinking they’d make good material,” Gongshu Ming said somewhat sheepishly amid the battle.
“No wonder the Free Nation tried so hard to capture us last time—you sneaked off with the bodies…” Lin Fan was bewildered.
Gongshu Ming twitched at the corner of his mouth. “I know it seems inhumane. Commander, if you object…”
After all, the people of Great Xia valued proper burial. Tradition held that the dead should rest in peace beneath the earth.
Disturbing the dead and using corpses to fight was somewhat unethical.
“Heh heh, what is there to object to?” Lin Fan’s smile was grim. “Anyone who opposes Great Xia, even in death, must atone for their sins!”
“Great Xia is kind to others,”
“But to those who offend Great Xia, we only wish we could feast on their flesh, wear their skin, and bind their souls for eternity without reincarnation!”
“Having their corpses fight for Great Xia is a mercy—it’s their atonement!”
At these words, Gongshu Ming’s eyes lit up. “Then from now on…”
“From now on, if you wish, even the corpses of gods are yours to modify,” Lin Fan said coldly.
