“Discuss business? Haha…” Andor laughed. As the Death God of the undead, he was undoubtedly one of the continent’s ultimate powerhouses. Though paralyzed by Chu Tian’s magical needle, his mind remained sharp. “What is it you want to discuss?”

“Praise the Goddess of Life!” Chu Tian’s expression grew serious. He pinned Dracula’s anger on Andor’s neck and spoke fiercely, “Tell me immediately! What is your true identity in the Res Empire? I warn you, my patience is running thin!” Chu Tian had been eager to uncover Andor’s identity because he simply could not believe the Res Empire would send an unknown nobody as a spy.

To wield the power of the Death God of the undead and yet earn the full trust of Emperor Terran of Res—that meant Andor’s true identity had to be extraordinary. As soon as it was revealed and made public, it would deal a severe blow to the Res Empire, especially during wartime. The morale of the frontline troops would be irreparably damaged.

“Kill me then!” Andor closed his eyes, his expression resigned, as if awaiting death.

“Hmph! You won’t speak?” Chu Tian narrowed his eyes with a smile, recalling the Empire’s Intelligence Director, Barry. With his psychic Death God by his side, what could not be extracted? “Anna! Come bind Andor!”

Silently, Anna appeared beside Chu Tian and produced an iron chain, binding Andor tightly. “Boss, what about them?” Anna gestured toward the unconscious Selena and the imperial guards.

Chu Tian shook his spatial ring, causing a clatter as numerous medicine bottles spilled out. He told Anna, “One pill each! Make sure they take them!” The medicines Chu Tian produced were not the ninth-level potions extracted from Kuyata. These were merely antidotes refined from low-grade bezoars. Though slower to act, they were still effective. Chu Tian was not about to waste his precious, high-tier potions on strangers.

Anna first forced a pill down Paige’s throat. Weak and dazed, Paige gradually revived and, under Anna’s guidance, joined the effort to help others. One by one, more and more people recovered. Though still weak, they could help administer the medicines. Before long, over a thousand imperial guards had regained consciousness.

“Vladino, what kind of medicine is this?!” Andor stared in disbelief as the poison was eradicated from his body. “This is impossible. Even Barbosa couldn’t detoxify this quickly…” His heart sank. After decades of painstaking research, all his efforts were undone by a single pill from Chu Tian. Moreover, there appeared to be many such pills!

“Praise the Goddess of Life!” Chu Tian struck a mystical pose again. “Mr. Andor, never forget, I am the Ancient High Priest blessed by the Goddess of Life!” Chu Tian would never reveal the truth—that these medicines formed the foundation of his foothold on the Phantom Beast Continent. Only Barbosa and Chu Tian himself truly understood the pharmaceutical process. Even Dio, responsible for extracting bezoar, had no idea what these were used for. Chu Tian, coming from Earth, deeply understood a saying: exclusive monopoly brings the greatest profit.

“Ancient priesthood?” Andor let out a bitter laugh. “So the medicines the Caesar Iron Cavalry use on the battlefield now are provided by you?” Though far away in Pompeii City, Andor was well-informed of the frontline conditions. He knew the Caesar Iron Cavalry had become even more fearsome.

Charging, wounded, medicated, then charging again! The invincible Caesar Iron Cavalry seemed like undead monsters. Except for mid- to high-level masters like Klins, almost no one could harm them!

Chu Tian’s medicines, supplied to Rudy III, included a small amount of seventh-level potions capable of quickly healing injuries below the seventh degree. Rudy III had allocated these to the newly formed heavily armored archer cavalry. In battle, Res troops were horrified to see about three thousand Caesar Iron Cavalrymen swallow a strange orb before charging. Immune to mid-level magic, knights who ignored damage below the seventh level, an overwhelming hail of arrows, and their terrifying charges made these troops a nightmare for Res.

Fortunately, high-grade bezoars were scarce. Chu Tian’s pharmaceutical factory produced just over a hundred high-level medicines a month, so only a few of the “undead” Caesar Iron Cavalry existed. Otherwise, the war would have ended long ago. Yet even so, Rudy III’s forces gradually gained the upper hand.

“Of course, it’s me who supplies them!” Chu Tian smiled proudly. “How’s the effect? Not bad, right?”

“Vladino, I underestimated you before.” Andor shook his head in frustration, though the magical needle limited the movement. “You deserve to be one of the continent’s ultimate powerhouses!”

“Praise the Goddess of Life! Thank you for your praise!” Chu Tian shrugged modestly, as if Andor’s opinion mattered little. By then, Paige and the troops had regained some strength, and Chu Tian ordered, “Paige! Take some men and watch over Andor!”

After dealing with Andor, Chu Tian approached the still unconscious Selena. The NMD dragon had shielded her from much of the poison gas, and Chu Tian had slipped her a ninth-level potion, so she was merely unconscious, not seriously harmed.

Cradling Selena, Chu Tian handed her over to Anna. “Protect her!”

Afterwards, Chu Tian patted the mixed-blood dragon NMD. “How about it? Can you still fight?” NMD had taken many blows protecting Chu Tian and Selena, his body covered in wounds. The dragon shook its head and lowered itself before Chu Tian. “No problem!”

“Good! Let’s find the others!” Chu Tian leapt onto NMD’s forehead, grasped his two horns, and soared into the sky.

Chu Tian was deeply worried. Though he had captured Andor, there was no news of Chiyan or the other magical beasts. He had seen the red clouds in the sky scattered by force, so Chiyan’s situation was grim.

As for Hummer and AK, Chu Tian felt more at ease. If they were in trouble, Derek would have come to Andor’s aid already. Chu Tian would never have had the chance to capture Andor otherwise.

Praise the Goddess of Life! Just as Chu Tian ascended, a powerful air current hit him. Chiyan’s enormous form appeared before him, but she looked terrible. Countless tiny wounds bled across her body, and a foot-long bone spike was viciously embedded in her back, deforming her wingbeats. Yet, in Chiyan’s claws, she firmly held the bone dragon.

“Vladino, you…” Chiyan was surprised to see that the bruised and battered image she expected of Chu Tian was nowhere to be found. Instead, he looked triumphant. “Where’s Andor?”

“I’ve captured him!” Chu Tian’s heart lifted halfway. With Chiyan victorious, his own victory was assured. Andor’s aim was to force him to serve the Res Empire, but Derek wouldn’t let his magical beasts die. Even if Derek suddenly appeared now, he wouldn’t stand a chance against NMD and Chiyan together. “How are your injuries?”

“Fine!” Chiyan bit down on the bone spike in her back and pulled hard, blood spraying out, making Chu Tian wince. Such a waste! Chiyan had rushed to support Chu Tian without time to treat her wounds, but now that he was safe, she could tend to herself. “How did you catch Andor!?” She couldn’t fathom how Chu Tian’s strength alone could subdue the Death God of the undead.

“Praise the Goddess of Life!” Chu Tian tapped the three golden suns embroidered on his robe—the mark of the Sacred High Priest. “Don’t forget, I am also one of the continent’s ultimate powerhouses, a ninth-level Ancient High Priest!”

“Hmph!” Chiyan snorted coldly, clearly displeased with Chu Tian’s answer. But she had no time for banter. The bone dragon in her claws reminded her that the damned Andor awaited reckoning! “The Dragon Clan will thank you for catching Andor!” By forging the bone dragon, Andor had enraged the entire Dragon Clan. Capturing him was undoubtedly a great favor to the Dragon Emperor.

“Your magical beasts are fine! Go check on them yourself!” Chiyan turned and flew off.

“Hey! Here, some medicine!” Chu Tian muttered, tossing a ninth-level potion in her direction. He rarely played the good guy for Kanasi’s sake, but Chiyan didn’t even look back, disappearing into the sky as if she hadn’t seen the medicine.

Praise the Goddess of Life! Chu Tian was speechless. Damn it, was the Dragon Clan’s pride really that important? Even if he had stabbed her, would she refuse treatment while injured? And his magical beasts were fine! But could she at least tell him where they were? In such a vast area, where was he supposed to find them?

“Boss! I see Hummer!” After circling the sky for a while, NMD suddenly changed direction and flew rapidly toward the spot. Upon nearing, NMD stopped. “Boss, Hummer seems to be…”

Chu Tian saw it too, his jaw nearly dropping from the sky to the ground. “That’s right! He looks like… he’s having a lot of fun…”

Chu Tian knew Hummer loved rolling around like a ball. Now, Hummer was rolling a large sphere made of thick spider silk. Nearby, the spider lady AK, whom Hummer adored, was constantly adding more silk to the ball.

What was going on? Even if someone told Chu Tian the Goddess of Life had resurrected, he wouldn’t be more shocked. Because inside the spider silk ball, a head full of white hair peeked out. The poor soul being used as a toy was none other than Derek—the ninth-level Sword God Derek!?

Dear Goddess, the ninth-level Sword God is being toyed with by an eighth-level mammoth elephant!? Are you kidding me???
